In this episode, we interview Robin Simone. If you were to look up "beast mode", you’d likely find a picture of Robi Simone. With only 10 miles left in the bike portion of Ironman Wisconsin, Robi found herself out-of-nowhere battling with double vision. She somehow still managed to complete the 112 mile bike leg to T2 and rack her bike. But this wasn’t where she had to be strong, it was the next 7 weeks when she had to endure insurmountable pain in her search for proper treatment for her brain aneurysm and fight for her life. This episode was recorded on July 10, 2023.

In this episode, we interview Andrea Calleja. Andrea suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2019, just days after running the Chicago marathon. After surgery, her first doctor told her she can no longer run, but she did not let that stop her from running marathons. With a new perspective on life, Andrea continues to run for good.
